I Started Using a Standalone Voice Recorder Today

I know my phone has an app for that. It has better recording quality. It’s always with me. But every time I open my phone to record a memo, I'm pulled in a dozen different directions. Notifications, messages, and who knows what else. Sometimes I forget why I even picked up my phone to begin with.

I know my phone is the "best tool for the job" on paper. But in practice? Maybe not.
